\u00bfQu\u00e9 son las Perspectivas locales sobre la biodiversidad?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Las Perspectivas locales sobre la biodiversidad (LBO) son una publicaci\u00f3n multimedia (un informe escrito y un sitio web complementario) que destaca el papel fundamental de los pueblos ind\u00edgenas y las comunidades locales en la conservaci\u00f3n y el uso sostenible de la biodiversidad. Se basa en informaci\u00f3n y estudios de casos aportados por pueblos ind\u00edgenas y comunidades locales, as\u00ed como por organizaciones que trabajan en colaboraci\u00f3n con ellos en todo el mundo.<\/p>\n

Las LBO son una iniciativa conjunta del Foro Ind\u00edgena Internacional sobre Biodiversidad (IIFB), la Red de Mujeres Ind\u00edgenas por la Biodiversidad (IWBN), la red de Centros de Distinci\u00f3n sobre Conocimientos Ind\u00edgenas y Locales (COD-ILK) y el Programa de los Pueblos Forestales (FPP), que busca complementar los informes de las Partes sobre la aplicaci\u00f3n del Convenio sobre la Diversidad Biol\u00f3gica (CDB). Un estudio de caso es un ejemplo o una historia de la vida real que muestra c\u00f3mo los pueblos ind\u00edgenas y las comunidades locales protegen sus tierras, territorios y recursos. El sitio web de la LBO alberga muchos estudios de caso, incluidos los que aparecen en las dos primeras ediciones de la publicaci\u00f3n.
